Joan Deering

Joan and her husband Jim live in sunny Florida and keep themselves quite busy doing Kingdom work.  They have two grown daughters and six grandchildren.  Joan has worked part-time off and on through the years and currently works part-time as a proctor at a nearby State College.

Joan has a degree in Bible from Philadelphia Biblical University as does her husband. She is also the founder and current facilitator of the Sebastian Neighborhood Woman’s Bible Study and she spends much of her time in preparation for teaching her bible classes.  It is not uncommon for there to be 15 women studying His Word together. Joan lives for Jesus, and shows it by opening up her home each week for a continuing Bible study on the book of Romans which is led by Jim.  They are quite the team and love hanging out by their pool.  Jim refers to their marriage as “lifers.” 

Joan is an avid reader and enjoys talking about the books she is currently reading.   Joan is Framework’s Script Supervisor.
