Note from our President

Sue

What if artifacts from today’s culture were preserved like the Dead Sea Scrolls? What would archaeologists of the future make of us if they studied our TV programs, newspapers and magazines, advertisements, CD’s and DVD’s, best-selling films and novels, and recordings of political speeches?  What might the worldwide web with its social media and other examples say about the diversions of our day?  Malcolm Muggeridge, in his book Christ and the Media (2003) challenges us to imagine such questions.

Sadly, if things continue as they are, our future archaeologists will see examples of our Post-Christian America and its great god, Consumption.  They will discover a culture seemingly unaware that it was self-destructing, rotting and decaying.  Will they examine the inconsistencies of legalized abortion and humane treatment of animals?  What will the consequences of the break-up of the American family and the redefining of marriage for homosexuals say about our society?  Will they find that we had become a nation built on a foundation of materialism?   Will they see people depending on the government for their well-being instead of family, church or other charitable organizations?  Will they conclude that the ruling elite had harshly dispensed with morality and truth, decreeing instead court-mandated secularism in every area of American culture?  Will they wonder why we let it happen?

Framework Productions and its partnering ministries are working hard to champion the Biblical Worldview, an ancient worldview that formed the building block used by Americas Founding Fathers. Today, conformity and convenience trumps character and convictions…hey, it’s all about ME!   Media and education today turn people away from Jesus and toward sin and materialism.  Pride and lust are considered positive attributes in a culture where, each day, more and more men and women buy into the worldview that they have the fundamental right to make and live by their own set of truths and rules.

Framework Productions seeks to tell the same truths Jesus told by using Paul’s method of “meet them where they are” evangelism.   We are bringing together the Cultural Commission (Genesis 1:26) and the Great Commission by using music and art to reintroduce Christ to the ends of the earth.  Using the “send” button as our distribution system, we meet them in Cyberspace where they are today.

We are a new ministry and our needs are many.  We ask that you pray for us.  Pray for discernment as we select the right artists and stories, and then pray that we may continue to expand our volunteer teams. Join one of our “Echo Evangelist” teams; either our internet www.frameworkproductions.com, or our facebook http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=136275132261 .  We’re asking that you become an activist and share our work with your friends, both church and un-churched.  And last but not least, we are looking for your financial support so we may continue to purchase equipment and increase our ability to create works of art that we pray will be used in the service of Jesus Christ.  Tax dedutible donations (we are a 501(C)3 non profit) can be made on our website by clicking "donate." or mail to Framework Productions Inc. c/o  Monica Wellmaker, C.P.A., P.A. 1500 14th Avenue, Suite B, Vero Beach, FL 32960 .       Together, with God’s help, we can wake up America!

God bless you for your prayers and support of Framework Productions!
